Situated in the village of Kegworth only a few minutes drive from East Midlands Airport, Marco's is at the hub of the BEST WESTERN Premier Yew Lodge Hotel and close to Loughborough, Leicester, Nottingham and Derby. This casual dining experience serves lunch, dinner, bar bites, afternoon tea and cocktails.           I appreciate that with the eat out scheme at the minute, the restaurant may have been busier than a normal Monday night but the service was shocking. We only had 2 courses and we were in the restaurant for nearly 2hrs! So slow for whole service drinks and between courses was shocking - had we have had somewhere else to go we would have left. Really disappointing first visit, not sure we will be back. I would like someone to contact me regarding this.

          Food was delicious, hot and tasty. service was fine but manager didn't wear mask over his nose just mouth which concerned me a bit given the circumstances . One lady was amazing with my 5 year old, happy helpful and friendly.

          Really enjoyed our visit to Marco's Italian it was lovely. Food was delicious and the service was excellent. Thanks Charlotte. Looking forward to next time already.

          Very disappointing experience. We decided to have the set menu and both chose the minute steak. We ordered one medium/rare & one well done. When they arrived neither was well done and both were very tough and chewy. They looked more like rump steaks then minute steaks. When the waiter asked if we had enjoyed the meal we said we were disappointed with the steaks and asked him to ask the chef what he thought to the portions we left and perhaps comment. After this the waiter just ignored us and we had to ask another waitress to serve us our desserts. When paying we repeated our disatisfication to the cashier and were offered a refund of the price of the vegetables but no real apology. I cannot say we are enthused about having to pay extra for chips and vegetables especially on a set menu. It seems strange that the set menu only includes the 'meat' and nothing else (apart from 6 cherry tomatoes on a vine!) Both the starters and the desserts were fine but the main course let it down. This is the first time we have visited a MPW restaurant and following this experience would not seek to return to either this or another venue. We had hoped that this would be a 'special evening' however we were left feeling very disappointed. As others have commented perhaps MPW needs to pay a visit to stir things up!

          Came here on the eat out to help out day. Food was good but charged 10%service charge as 'tips'. Bills worked out more than what we thought. Considering the amount we had to pay for service charge, it is not top notch. Disgusted by the hidden charges and definitely been put off from coming back again. Would not recommend to anyone at all.

          Absolute rubbish for ambience, service, food and value for money, the whole place is tired and portions minuscule for top prices

          First time here, service was friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. Food was okay but certainly nothing special. Value, particularly the set menu combined with the government discount, was outstanding. Well worth a try.

          Thought the set menu was great value Then they charged us extra for the chips Which surely comes with a set menu main ...... dessert wasn’t as expected more like taken out of a packet
