Marcus Grill, 93 years and counting..... The origin of Marcus dates all the way back to 1929 when Charles Marcus invented the original burger in Detroit. In the city's spirit of innovation he built an enormous grill in the center of his diner, stamped burgers into a special shape, sautéed the all steak patty to fit in a hot dog bun. Marcus Grill is known not only for their burgers, but the bona fide Polish platters that are made fresh daily. Mastering homemade stuffed cabbage, city chicken, potato pancakes & pierogies where the dough is made in house & by hand. We offer special homemade soups, sauces and gravies that are worth coming back for. The experience of a warm welcome and personal touch has always been vital within the Marcus tradition. A great place to eat! Food and Service are excellent. They also can accommodate large parties on short notice, which works well for me.

Food was great. All the staff was great. Everyone was accommodating. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars was the breakfast menu was very limited. Add a few more items next year! Other than that it was a good experience. My 93 yo mom and 80 yo cousin enjoyed themselves. Thanks!

Reservation could not be found even though I presented emails and text messages. We were asked to wait at the bar then they forgot able us. Got very little attention from our server during the meal.

I love your restaurant and visit frequently for breakfast. We met friends for dinner and it was a very busy timeframe and the service was a tad slower than usual, but understandable. Very loud…
