Fine dining Italian Cuisine in the heart of Haddonfield, Nj located on 1 Kings Highway East, 08033. Palatable dishes served with our version of a modern European touch. All sauces, pastas, and pastries made in house to serve comforting and hearty dishes.     Friendly employees, food was good but surprisingly only 3 shrimp in the pasta which I thought was stingy. The bread was fresh and a nice oil to dip into. The bus boy started to take our appetizer away while we were still eating it and I had to grab the plate away from him. This is a very noisy restaurant and I could hardly hear the waiter describe the specials. Overall I can only give them 4 stars.

    My wife and I had dinner for her birthday. It was very good. The ambiance was perfect for our dinner for two. We went around 5 and it started to get busy about the time we were finishing up. The service and food were very good. We loved our caprese salad with the roasted peppers. We realize it’s an Italian restaurant but weren’t thrilled with the dessert options - not a huge deal. I’m sure they are great. But luckily there is an ice cream place 800 ft away with plenty of options. We had a great time. We will definitely be back to try more of their homemade pastas.

    our food was delicious and the service was very good. Only issue was that the noise level was high, had difficulty hearing the conversations at our table of 4

    Food was delicious. Servers were lovely. Front room was energetically loud, so grateful that we were seated in the back room to accommodate a guest with challenges hearing. A bit pricey for a BYOB, but every bite was yummy.

    We had a truly outstanding meal at Mare Monte BYOB last night. I've lived in the area for over 30 years and never knew this restaurant was there. Our waiter (forgot his name, but he said he was new), was so attentive and accommodating. We shared both calamari and escargot. The escargot was prepared differently than I'm used to with a mascarpone mousse on top of about a dozen escarrgot in garlic sauce. We mixed the cheese mixture in which completed the flavor. I would have preferred the mascarpone warmed. The main course, which we both ordered veal Mare Monte, with crab meat, gorgonzola sauce and crushed walnuts, with mashed potatoes and vegetable medley, was positively awesome. For dessert we had chocolate creme brulee which was divine. Highly recommend!!

    The food is all made in-house which is a plus for freshness. You need reservations as it is very busy. They have a variety of specials to offer besides the main menu. Staff is attentive and professional. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
