This traditional restaurant opened its doors in 2009 as a tribute to our grandmother Maria Corona, born in Mexico City in 1917. The history of the Corona family is extremely interesting, dates from the time of the General Ramon Corona who, during the French intervention played a fundamental role in the fall of the Emperor Maximilian. This restaurant is the guardian of the traditional techniques of mestizo cuisine, with flavors and recipes dating back to the times of the Mexican Independence until the beginning of the twentieth century. Dedicated to our grandmother Maria Corona born in 1916 in Mexico City, here you will find her traditional recipes along with her cooking secrets as they’ve been handed down from generation to generation. Everything is done in the purest of Mexican Cooking Traditions. Located in the heart of downtown San Lucas with indoor and patio seating Live dinner music nightly from 7 to 10 pm.     Great value restaurant with a beautiful setting w/ live music every evening which make it an experience instead of just a dinner. Food....well 2 dishes were over cooked which was disappointing but it didn't hamper our experience as everything else was really nice. The setting under the stars make it special. The service was a little slow at times as our server kinda disappeared at times. Overall very nice restaurant w/ good food at great prices.

    Very crowded and the service was slow. The wait staff was working very hard but still couldn’t keep up. The food was wonderful!!!

    Excelente cocina, sus platillos son verdaderamente muy ricos. (La cochinita pibil fue una delicia). La ambientación del restaurante es muy bonita. Sin embargo, tienen una gran falla en el servicio, son muy atentos y serviciales, pero muy lentos en atender y servir las bebidas y los platillos. Si fueran más rápidos en atender y servir bebidas, así como dar una botana de la casa de entrada, pudieras esperar más tranquilamente los platillos, que son realmente muy ricos.

    Overpriced food…better places in town for authentic mexican food. Used to be quite the experience but now just trying to compete on price. Skip it! Disappointed as use to go there for 20 years

    This restaurant was a special surprise. We didn't know anything about it when we selected it on Christmas Day, but the food, service, ambiance and drinks were all exceptional. I highly recommend trying the Enchiladas and the Carne Asada, which were both top notch. The live entertainment was a bit loud but very impressive to watch. Overall a great experience.

    The food here is fantastic, this was our second visit. As it was Christmas, there was a fun and lively stage show with entertainers and dancers. The kitchen seemed to have some issues and it took quite a while to get our appetizers and food. But it was worth the wait. Margaritas are spectacular! Table side guacamole and queso fundido are worth getting as well.

    We had a great experience overall and will be back! We were here for Christmas dinner with a reservation and they just weren't staffed enough to handle the amount of folks dining. Just to get drinks took 25 minutes. Also, there was a couple letting their young children run around and one threw a toy car across that just barely missed my husband's head and no one said anything to them (this was going on for 40+ min). The entertainment was super fun, our waiter was very friendly and apologetic about the wait and the food was amazing. We will absolutely be back but maybe not on a holiday.
