Wow. Just wow. We've been waiting to go to the new Market Steer location for a long time. The wait was worth it. The space is gorgeous, warm, cozy, great atmosphere. The service is terrific from front of house, to the bar manager, to waitstaff and the owner walking around checking in on all the guests. The food, must preface by saying we are total Santa Fe foodies and love just about every Santa Fe restaurant and eatery, but this is a step above. It is a great spot for last minute cocktails and noshes, a romantic dinner, a special occasion, a just because you want a terrific steak or seafood dish. We left totally satisfied and ready to make another reservation and stop in at the bar for cocktails and the bar menu very soon! Well done.

Market Steer is a professionally excellent high-quality restaurant. To begin, table reservations are ready within minutes. Service, led by the remarkable Ms. Anette, is superb, warm, knowledgeable, gracious, thoughtful and good-humored. The Market Steer kitchen understands meat and degrees of doneness.The entire service is first class and responsive to the diners' wishes. With a fine choice of menus and a wine list to accompany it, Market Steer is a first-class experience.

Ok, this was easily one of the top 5 restaurant meals we’ve ever experienced. Anywhere. My wife and I both ordered the filet mignon - perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, perfect char. The asparagus and the green chile risotto - OMG the risotto! - complimented the steaks…well…perfectly. We chose the bread pudding for dessert and it too was incredible. This was our first visit to Market Steer but it will be a regular stop on all future Santa Fe trips. Don’t miss this place!

Market Steer is one of the best steak houses in New Mexico. The food, sercice, and ambiance are exceptional! Those of us who live in Santa Fe are very fortunate to have this restaraunt here.

I was immediately seated and the service throughout my stay was quick, friendly, and attentive. The tomato bisque was a wonderful choice for the cold evening and nicely seasoned. I could have enjoyed two servings of the creme brulee! Every bite was so tasty and a great treat to end my meal.

This is fine dining at its best in Santa Fe. Our waiter is outstanding, the owner can cover to see if we were enjoying ourselves. The new location is beautiful. The food was sublime. Overall five star experience
