   What an amazing place! Such a cool look1 The food was amazing, innovative and a little different than, yet delicious. Brussel sprouts were such a hit and the unique tiramasu got devoured. Our server Emalie was always there when we needed her and she has a wonderful personality. Her team of servers totally covered our party of 6. I can't wait to get back to Stockton and get to the Market Tavern again.

   Despite our reservations, we were seated in the bar. But it was perfectly comfortable, though maybe a tad noisier than we expected. That being said the service was impeccable, and the food delicious. I wouldn’t change a thing about our experience!

   Very crowded so reservations are a must. Food always delicious very time! Our wait staff was phenomenal…so accommodating and kind, prompt, responsive and professional. Atmosphere a little loud but a great experience overall! Love coming here!

   Excellent beverages and delicious food as always! All their cocktails are good but I recommend the Runaway Bride or Pineapple Express!

   We eat at Market Tavern regularly. Our major complaint is that when we arrive for our reservation, we are told to wait, even though there are numerous empty tables (and we're always seated at one of those open tables). Service in the past had been slow but we always had a nice time and felt cared for. The past two times we've been at the restaurant, not only have we waited an exceptionally long time for a server to come by the table, once we've ordered food, we don't see them again until they drop the check off. They don't check in to see if food is prepared accordingly or if we need anything. It's a good thing we order a bottle of wine or we'd never have anything to drink while dining. During our last visit, staff spent more time chatting with the chefs and hanging out by the kitchen than actually on the floor. We usually go on Thursday nights - maybe that's the problem.

    We always have the octopus appetizer. So delicious. We had the Halibut special, cooked perfectly. Moist and very good!
