Marleys was opened in 2018 by young local couple, Mark & Charly. It's a culmination of fresh, seasonal and local ingredients - served by the friendliest team, and truly produced with love, thought and care.

We serve lunch, dinner and weekend breakfast in a relaxed and cosy atmosphere.

We focus on 'British Comfort Food', with a little extra attention to detail. Casual Dining at it's best - in your little neighbourhood cafe-restaurant.

We take dinner bookings in the evenings - with breakfast and lunch being walk-in only.

The food was not great. The veggie burger and the duck were pretty average. The duck needs a strong sauce and this was lacking. Left it tasting quite bland.

I would very rarely rate all 5’s but from the moment we arrived the staff were friendly, helpful, prompt, the restaurant and facilities were well designed and kept. The food portions were very good and the quality was amazing, the combinations and taste was very well executed. I was expecting the bill at the end to be a bit more than it actually was. I genuinely couldn’t find a single fault.

Marley's offers a relaxed ambiance. The food is amazing. It's a small menu, very well executed. Would definitely go back. Loved our visit

Getting table here can sometimes be difficult, however I struck gold when I found one with 24 hours notice. The food was delicious and the staff super friendly and polite. We went out for a meal for my husbands birthday and on arrival he was wished happy birthday, there was a little happy birthday note on the table and again when we left they wished him happy birthday, little but nice touches. The sharing platter for starter was a great portion for 3 of us and the main courses of Duck, pork belly and steak were cooked to perfection. Certainly will be coming back.

Everything was perfect from beginning to end. We were greeted warmly and shown straight to our table. Our order for drinks was taken quickly and we were given the perfect amount of time to choose our food before ordering. We chose the pork belly and steak - both were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. Too full for dessert unfortunately! A lovely evening in a very well run restaurant.

My dinner was awful. I didn’t finish it as it was too hot and spicy to the point I could taste anything. The potatoes were soggy . The squid was soggy also . Really disappointed as I paid £50. Another of my party disliked hers too (same meal) and we both went home poorly. Asked for pudding to be put in a footy bag. Not even wrapped up , just shoved in a paper bag and given to us . Drinks too expensive also . Never want to come back. Sorry :(

I celebrated my birthday at this restaurant, and it was a wonderful experience! First time visiting Marleys and was not disappointed. The atmosphere was cosy and welcoming. The staff left me a thoughtful handwritten note on the table that instantly brought a smile to my face. The food was absolutely delicious, and the ladies who served us were friendly and attentive, which made the entire evening even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm and cosy dining experience. Thank you to the amazing team for making my birthday so special!
