At Marlow we specialize in artisan style, neapolitan sourdough pizza, as well as locally sourced meats and vegetables. Our menu, space, and offerings change seasonally. We aim to bring you modern yet rustic meals to be shared. Chef/Owner Jeff Scheer and wife Kaili, have always loved to entertain at their home in Kula. The concept for the restaurant is an extension of that warm hospitality felt while sharing good food and wine around a table of family and friends. When the restaurant industry shut down in March of 2020, the pair began making sourdough pizza out of their outdoor oven at home. Milling whole wheat berries from a farm in Arizona, hand stretching mozzarella, whole-animal butchery, growing artichokes and summer squash for toppings - it was a true labor of love. What began as a ritual has grown into a restaurant. We look forward to seeing you at Marlow soon.

    THANK YOU 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 WHAT A DELICIOUS AND DELIGHTFUL DINING EXPERIENCE!! We had just traveled home 14 hours from east coast holiday and our friends picked us up at the airport. We had made a reservation with you and they had never been before. We ordered as many dishes as I could expose them to in one meal and EVERYTHING WAS KNOCKOUT GREAT!! Autumn was wonderful and our entire day was topped with your AMAZING FOOD!! We forgot about the long travel day!! HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL & We will see you soon and often!!

    We come to Marla’s once twice a month and often when friends are visiting. This last opportunity to come was just my myself and my husband and the food is always outstanding! This experience, we had a little mixup twice with our order once when arugula was not added to the margarita pizza and once when we were brought gelato instead of the olive oil cakes, not a big deal but service was not completely seamless. We appreciate everything that was offered as usual.

    We had an outstanding experience at Marlow last night! Our party of 10 shared several appetizers, pastas, and pizzas, followed by a beautiful slice of olive oil cake, and a flight of gelato. Our group voted unanimously on the gnocchi as the standup dish of the evening, but honestly, every single morsel was a delight. We also appreciated the friendly, attentive service from the young lady who took care of us, as well as a couple of other folks who stopped to check in and close the patio to make us more comfortable. We rarely leave our corner of Maui to drive across the island for a dinner, but we’re so glad we did last night! We will definitely be back.

    We throughly enjoyed our meal. Love the chopped salad. We decided to try a white sauce pizza tonight instead of ordering our usual red sauce pizza. We found the white sauce delicious. The pizza was not overly sauced and the garlic cloves lovely flavor bombs.

    I should have left to avoid a trip to the ER. After notifying the waitress and manager about flying ants 3xs, they finally closed the sliding doors to the restaurant. My other half kindly explained that I go into anaphylactic shock if I am bitten by ants. The staff didn’t care. The manager wiped away the dead ants I killed and walked away. I had to leave the restaurant when I could no longer breathe and needed medical attention. Pretty place but poor customer service.

    Hi Amy, our dinner services have operated as 'open air' in Upcountry, Maui for over 3 years. We open our large bi-fold patio doors in the evening to accommodate patio seating and for customers to enjoy the views of Haleakala and to enjoy the open air. Yes, occasionally bugs fly in and out of the restaurant, especially when the trade winds are calm as they have been over recent weeks. I believe these were gnats, not 'flying ants.' Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about this, and quite honestly its never been an issue. Many of our customers appreciate the open air nature of our large bi-fold doors. This is a restaurant in the tropics and customers with serious allergies such as yours should take their own precautions when dining out.

    Upcountry Gem with excellent pizza, salads and select dishes that I would consider entrees but they call” for the table” the dick confit was extremely tasty as was the pappardelle pasta with bolognese sauce. Also craft cocktails and wine selection. Server was very sweet and the atmosphere was lively, bright and clean. It’s open kitchen so you can watch the magic as it happens (“bar” seating available, fronts the open kitchen) Best to make reservations but I believe they also do walk up and take out.
