Opened in 2010 and relocated to its current location in 2014, Marlowe is a New American bistro located in San Francisco’s Soma neighborhood in the former COCO500 space.

Brought to you by Executive Chef Jennifer Puccio and award-winning San Francisco designer Ken Fulk, Marlowe focuses on classic comfort foods with flavorful twists, like Chef Puccio’s signature Marlowe Burger, seasonal poulet vert, brussels sprouts chips and quail egg topped steak tartare.

Taking inspiration from the butcher shops of the past, Marlowe is designed with a sleek but comfortable feel, featuring white subway tiles, white marble, deep blue banquettes, wood block tables and specials listed on rolls of butcher paper.

Marlowe is just perfect!! my Bestie and I were there for breakfast this morning, and our first impression was this place is so cute and intimate. The service was impeccable, the food was so good. She had a fried green tomatoes and polenta, I had the caramelized onion burger. We loved it so much that after we went to the museum, we went back for a drink afterwards. Excellent spot, very welcoming and super special ♥️

First time visiting Marlowe. Decent burger & with salad offering. Nice ambience with attentive service. Pricey but that's SF! Will go back.

Food was great but with relatively high prices plus a 7% “SF Mandates” addition to the bill, I won’t be going back any time soon. If it’s full, it’s very loud as there are lots of hard surfaces.

The food is fantastic. Service is great. This may seem silly but they have a coat rack which i appreciate. Bathroom are well attended too. I will definitely gi back to this restaurant.

I’ve been patronized Marlowe since 2016 and the quality of the entrees and cocktails have diminished since closing down during COVID. I’m assuming the chef changed. We received cold burgers and they were not on the juicy side which the restaurant was known prior to Covid. The cocktail menu is limited with a couple of the popular tasty ones removed. The service was good overall.
