   Brunch was excellent. Don’t pass up the brunch basket as those pastries are what you’d expect from a French bistro. Highly recommend this place.

   We had a wonderful dinner at Marseille. The ambiance was inviting, the food was outstanding—perfectly cooked and beautifully seasoned—and the service was exceptional. The prices were very reasonable for the quality and experience. We enjoyed two appetizers, three entrees, two desserts, and a bottle of wine, and everything was delicious. I highly recommend Marseille!

   Prompt and courteous service, lovely ambience, we loved short ribs and fries (steak wasn’t available), duck liver mousse, tuna tartare and rhubarb tart. It was noisier on one side due table proximity but we still managed to have a conversation among our 2 couples. Marseille remains a tried and true choice for a pre-theater dinner.

   Four of us had dinner here. The staff was great, the food was delicious, but it was very hot in the restaurant, so much so that two of us were fanning ourselves. It would have been a 5 star experience if not for the heat.

   Love how responsive your hostess & wait staff are to our needs. We asked for a quiet corner booth and they happily gave us what felt like the best table in the house. The waiter even checked with us, unprompted, if we had any food allergies or if we had a curtain call for a nearby theater— very considerate! The food is consistently delish. We eat here regularly and highly recommend it to others!

   Only my second visit in many years, although I'd wanted to return sooner. Overall, a very good experience. Our food (Oysters and Shrimp Beignets, shared; Steak frites, Duck confit, and Cod; French Apple Tart and Strawberry-Rhubarb Tart) were all excellent, simply presented and in reasonable portions. We shared a bottle of wine (Bordeaux) was good and well-priced. The atmosphere was classic and comfortable, the sound level acceptable but perhaps a little loud. One minor complaint, if it qualifies, is being asked 3 or 4 times if we had any food allergies. That aside, I hope to return again soon.
