I had a fabulous experience - the service was attentive, professional and courteous, the ambiance was warm and very French, and the food was sublime. I can’t wait to go back on a future escape to NYC!

The food was consistently good. The staff were courteous, friendly and professional. The brunch menu had limited, though tasty, choices.

Our server smoothly handled our complicated table of nine people around noon on a busy brunch day. The food was delicious and prompt!

The restaurant was nice and clean and very busy, clearly for the theater crowd. The wait for our table was a little longer than I would have liked. The staff was very busy, again due to the 7 pm theater crowd. We had an 8pm show so we saw 60% of the crowd leave. Being in a full restaurant can be unpleasant but they had a lot of staff that kept occupied. We enjoyed the activity. The food was GOOD. The drinks were Good and the price was Good. The GOOD rating should not be misconstrued as negative.

Our meals and service were excellent from the crispy rolls with sweet butter to the special lobster bisque and escargot to the perfect salmon and duck leg confit. The apple tart with vanilla ice cream served with a candle celebrating my birthday completed a memorable experience. Finally, for bourbon lovers, they stock Eagle Rare which is hard to find.

Marseille is our favorite French restaurant in NYC and I consider it one of my top 3 restaurants overall. After we decided to come to NYC it was the first reservation we made after the plane tickets. The service from our server Ryan was excellent! From his wine recommendation to his food recommendations he was spot on. The escargot and duck confit were absolutely amazing. The steak tartare special was a perfect blend of the beef and seasonings. My go to main course is the bouillabaisse for 1. The broth is delicate and perfectly seasoned. The fish and shellfish were plentiful and cooked to perfection! The bouillabaisse from Marseille is the one I compare ALL other restaurants bouillabaisse too. We capped off our meal with the French apple tart, which was the perfect end to a wonderful meal.
