My favorite restaurant in New York City. The food is very good, the staff is always pleasant and the atmosphere is super fun while elegant but not stuffy. Can be casual or dress up as you like.

Order the bouillabaisse or the short rib... the Tagine which we were excited about was unfortunately served over Israeli couscous not the traditional Moroccan option.

I have been going to Marseille for 15 years. It's my favourite restaurant in NYC. My girlfriend and I flew in from Toronto Canada, for a 24-hour "Christmas" trip, specifically to have dinner at Marseille. The food is divine, the service excellent, the ambience is warm and inviting, and the decor is what I call "country French" with a touch of sophistication. I can't say enough good things about Marseille. So many dinners, always a very happy tummy. The spiced apple cider with bourbon....you must try!

Ryan our waiter was excellent…he was knowledgeable and friendly and was able to get my husband in and out in time to make his show call…this is such a hidden gem in midtown! Food is excellent!

We live in the neighborhood and the last time we had been to Marseille was shortly after the pandemic abated. The food, at that time, was horrendous. I'm happy to report that things have improved incredibly...every thing was delicious...from mussels, snails, burgers, french onion soup, frisbee salad......no complaints whatsoever, except for our crappy table to the left of the left as you walk in....crowded and cold......ugh (it's a three person table you guys!!!). Anyway...despite that....we'll be going back again, and probably very soon...but will refuse to sit at that table again!!!

The restaurant was beautifully decorated for the holidays and everyone was warm and welcoming. We had outstanding service from Andres, and our Sommelier was lovely and helpful. Thank you!

Great reviews , an Oyster happy hour and 10 min walk to a 7 pm Broadway show made us try this place for a 5 pm reservation. This was the week before Christmas and the restaurant was beautifully decorated. Started with a dozen plump Blue Points @ the amazing price of $18 before happy hour ended at 5:30. Followed with yummy not-to-garlicky escargot with perfectly toasted crostini and a smooth liver pate accompanied by a refreshing French Fume Blanc. Finished with a perfectly cooked charred octopus which could only been better if there was more than one tentacle. And those were just the appetizers!

Marseille is a classic! Elegant menu, wonderful staff and a very enjoyable atmosphere. We had the mussels and Croque Madame, and pot de crème for dessert. All delicious and beautifully presented.
