The food was excellent and the service was at its top even with the volume of people trying to eat before their show. Totally recommend.

This was a great place to go before our Broadway event. Our server, Ryan, did a really nice job welcoming us to the restaurant and the city. food was really good. Suggest the grilled octopus and steak frites. Will go again next trip up.

This place is one of my favorites before a show. Consistently delicious and so well prepared. Staff are always attentive and helpful. I love everything about this place. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming with a relaxed polished vibe that begs me to stay, relax, and have that extra glass of wine. Do not skip on dessert and coffee.

I love Marseilles but today I had to ask for coffee 4 times. Not good for NYD Brunch.

It was another great New Year’s Eve celebratory dinner. The prix fixe dinner had a variety of good options and the staff breaks out hats, noisemakers, champagne, and a crew banging on pots and pans to usher in the New Year!

unfortunately, it was a letdown. The service was excruciatingly slow – we had brought champagne but it was put far away from us& we waited far too long for our drinks to be refilled , which soured the entire experience. When our meals finally arrived, they were disappointing at best. We ordered the chef special for dessert & I got cheese & crackers , and the dishes were unappetizing. It’s a shame because the place had potential, but the slow service and bad-tasting food made it hard to enjoy our visit.

First time that a meal at Marseille was not consistently perfect. May be inevitable on a holiday night. Started with French75 cocktails we had to send back because they were warm and the bubbles were flat. Someone came to tell us the bartender could not remake them because they would come out the same: huh? Claimed they had just opened the champagne: so how could a just-opened cold bottle be both warm and flat?We gave up and ordered a nice bottle of champagne. The $85 Prix Fixe (+mandatory 20% tip) menu had a real range of interesting options. Scallop appetizer and pasta with lobster were up to par. My companion and I both had the halibut entrée, which had a hard, flavorless crust on the slightly overcooked beautiful white fish underneath. Had to drag each forkful of fish through the lemony sauce at the bottom of the plate and my companion said the fish was still dry. Best part of that dish was the broccolini. Crème brulée with berries was up to this restaurant's high standard. Cappucino was great. Service was as warm and professional as ever: these servers and bus staff know not to clear anyone's plate until the table has finished the course. Overall a nice time but when 2 people spend $310 there should be no glitches, even on New Year's Eve.
