                  Restaurant is pretty, service was adequate. Some chaos at the front desk that left a lot of people with reservations waiting next to a cold door. Food was good but portions were exceptionally large for all courses. 2 people could easily split dishes and be stuffed. I wish the waiter had been more transparent about that. Felt like a lot of waste at the end. All in all a good spot for dinner.

                  Bottomless brunch was great! Nice selection of entrees and very delicious (and strong) mimosas. Not a bad deal at all for NYC and well worth what you get. Would recommend and would love to go back again for brunch soon!

                  delightful experience at a wonderful restaurant. A waitress could not have been more lovely. The ambience was great and the food was terrific. We really enjoyed the bread basket and it was just an overall terrific experience. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

                  Being a long time fan of Marseille, we were greatly disappointed with our most recent experience. When we booked our last minute post-theater dinner reservation, we could select either 10:45 pm or 11 pm. We opted for 10:45 pm as it said that our show that was one block away should have been out by 10:40 pm. We arrived at the restaurant just before 11 and they tried to tell us the kitchen was already closed. We pointed out we could have made the 11 pm reservation and they eventually let us sit, but rushed us. It says on their menu that they're open until 11 pm. If you're only open until 11 pm, you should not have an 11 pm reservation available on OpenTable. And once you do seat customers, you should make them feel welcome and not rushed no matter the hour. There are very few restaurants still open in NYC post theater and we were excited to be going to be Marseille but this was a great disappointment. They brought our entrees while we were still finishing our salads. They neglected to bring steak knives. Despite their rushing we had to wait for wine to be brought to the table. We will likely give it another chance, but they really need to decide if you're taking 11 pm reservations, then you need to treat those customers the same as someone arriving at 6 pm. Thank you.
