We had been eagerly anticipating our visit to the Masons Steakhouse, but sadly, the experience didn’t live up to our expectations. The first floor offered a more refined and welcoming atmosphere, while the second floor resembled a bustling cafeteria. While the service was attentive, it lacked the refinement and professionalism typically expected at a restaurant of this caliber, giving the impression that the staff were perhaps still in training. The small details, such as mismatched silverware, butter served with a spoon instead of a butter knive, and desserts paired with tiny coffee spoons, diminished the overall experience. Although the quality of the meat seemed good, the dishes were served lukewarm—the fries were cold and limp, and the steaks, though cooked well, were noticeably cooler than they should have been. Overall, while there might be potential, there is significant room for improvement.
