I went to masraffs twice when it was on Westheimer and the food was spectacular. Visited it on Katy freeway today and was sorely disappointed. My guest got undercooked fish. Two dessert cobblers were cold. The tiramisu was a weird concoction of coffee gelatin and ice cream. The ice cream as hard as a rock. Everything was just wrong. For the prices they charge we were simply ripped off.

We gathered here for a Christmas celebration. We were welcomed in right away. The atmosphere was great. A little loud but that is expected in the holidays. The clam chowder was served nice and warm and was delicious. Their bread was good. Their sea bass is not to be missed. Their lobster risotto was excellent. Their Halibut was very fresh. It appears that this restaurant prides themselves on fresh ingredients and it shows through their food. The owner checked on us during our dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you for such a great evening. We will return.

What a lovely experience. We were celebrating our Mom’s birthdays (85 & 90), and everyone made us feel so welcome. Kenny is an amazing server. He was there when we needed him without hovering over us. His recommendations were spot on. We had the calamari (OMG!) & crab cake for appetizers. Chilean Sea Bass, Seared Tuna, and Rack of Lamb (winner). Mr. Masraff spent several minutes talking with us and making sure we were taken care of. He even comped us some fabulous desserts. There were no leftovers. We had been to Masraff’s at their previous locations, and even though the design has changed, the food and service remain stellar! Cheers to 25 years and we hope there are 25 more!

Celebrated our 42nd wedding anniversary here. Outstanding chef, superb service. We will not wait as long as our next anniversary to enjoy this special restaurant.
