Years we’ve been coming to Massimo’s on our trips up from the states. The last few years have been significantly less impressive and this year was an all time low. Service was bad (waited over an hour for the meal), food was good but the menu hasn’t changed in years. Seems like serious understaffing but regardless very sad. We won’t go back.

No where near as spectacular as descriptions make it sound. Nothing special to write home about at all. Location of restaurant is the convenience

Really great experience at Fallsview. We reserved a table to see the falls at night. The pasta was great, we customized per our vegetarian need. Parking is covered in the same hotel.

We celebrated our engagement with Massimo’s. It was an amazing experience and we could not have asked for a better venue. The view of the falls was great, and the service and dining experience was even better!!

Food was way overpriced! Mushroom pasta was heavy handed in strong flavour - no subtlety/balance. Service was pleasant and competent. Lovely view of the falls but will not return.

I will start with the positive and say the service offered by Manu (I hope I am spelling his name right) was excellent. Terry was amazing as well from helping me to book the table to welcoming us at the restaurant. He was our highlight of the evening. The food was not good though and that was quite disappointing to be honest. We expected an exquisite experience but it was quite surprising. The appetizer was amazing but the main courses were not good. I had to stop half way my pasta dish as it was incredibly salty and I am one who absolutely loves salt. This meal I could not touch. To my surprise, yes I was offered a salad or a new email but by then I had lost my appetite. With no discount, no write off just a hefty bill. The ambiance was great and so was the service but the food was disappointing. Very sorry for my review but given how expensive the meals are, we left very disappointed. However Manu and Terry were exceptional!

Mattie, our Server, was fantastic. She made it a very fun night and we can’t say enough about her. The food was very good as always. It’s a great Italian experience.

This dinner was perfect start to finish. From the host, to the server, to the bartender, to the man going table to table asking how our meals were. The view is amazing (hint....go around 7:30pm to get a front row seat to the firework show on the falls). Our waitress (Michelle I think) was knowledgeable, friendly and so pleasant. We will be back in the very near future for sure. Thanks for making our 27th anniversary amazing.
