    Excellent food and service. As always, it's what they do. didn't like my table at first, in the back and dark but they did accommodate us and move us to a better table. Had an excellent time

    This was our Thanksgiving dinner, so the restaurant was quite busy. We were seated promptly for our 7:30 reservation. We waited 30 minutes to get a menu, and a further 30 minutes for our meal (simple filets and one side), all the while watching other guests being seated after us and receiving their meals before us. Our server was quite apologetic. The restaurant wasn’t staffed appropriately for the number of reservations they were accepting. Despite the service, the food was very good.

    Disappointing. Just had Thanksgiving dinner there. The table wasn’t ready which was annoying given their repeated texts to have my full party of 8 there on time — which I did. They sat us downstairs next to the bar where we were serenaded by empty bottles being noisily disposed of the whole night. I had called the restaurant after making the reservation to confirm they were offering a traditional TG meal in addition to their normal menu. I was assured they were. But when we sat down the waiter informed me there was in fact no turkey dinner available. A manager came over and told me that they “never change the menu.” Apparently they failed to inform the employee who answered my call of that policy. No amends were offered nor made — which at this price point is pretty lame. The food we had was adequate. Nothing stood out as excellent. There are much better options for midtown steakhouses, ie Quality Meats and Wolfgang’s. My next 4-figure holiday meal will be enjoyed elsewhere.

    Mastros is one of our old time favorites! No place would’ve been better to spend thanksgiving. The food was wonderful. The service absolutely AMAZING. They had a live singer that made it unforgettable. Very expensive but was totally worth it!!!
