    Service seemed a little slow at times. I said we were celebrating a birthday on OpenTable but when we got there nobody acknowledged us celebrating a birthday.

    Staying in town for the week and decided to treat myself for a steak dinner for one. Best idea ever! Food was amazing. I ordered the cocktail shrimp (which were jumbo and dramatically were served on a smoky bed of dry ice.) Loved it! The Filet mignon was cooked to perfection and the accompanying mash and lobster MAC which I also ordered were heavenly. If you love bread do order the basket at the onset of the dinner, pretzel bed was soooooo good! Finally my server Valerie (Hope I’m spelling that right) was sooo attentive and knowledgeable, she really took the experience to another level. Definitely a must experience.

    5:00 reservation was perfect to get first choice upstairs and enjoy the last of the sun and the live music starting at 5:30. Sea scallops and filet mignon were the mains - scallops had a delicious sauce while optional sauces were not needed for the filet. Evan provided just the perfect amount of attention all the way from us being first upstairs to a full crowd by the end. Evan anticipated every need, paid attention to allergies, and made the evening wonderful - we’ll be asking for him next time!

    We had a wonderful time at Mastro’s. The service was excellent and the staff members were all very polite and helpful. For appetizers we had ordered a tuna tartare and it was delicious! For our main course we ordered the 6 oz Wagyu (rare) and 8 oz filet mignon (medium rare) and both dishes were *chef kiss*. One comment though when ordering a rare steak, I actually expect it to be rare but in this case it was a little bit more cooked than expected. For our sides, we ordered the truffle wild mushrooms, garlic mashed potatoes and creamed corn. All dishes were absolutely tasty! We had an awesome time at Mastro’s and will definitely love to come back again!

    We had a lovely meal with filet mignon and lamb as entrees that were cooked to order and to perfection. Presentation and service was fantastic!

    A dinner at Mastro’s restaurant sounded pleasing however upon arriving my anticipations became unrealistic. The music was deafening, and the guests attending were not in appropriate dress code especially the women. The food was acceptable however, the most upsetting event was my server not attending to my wife and I promptly. If you are looking for a dinner to be satisfying with an elegant setting please attending to an evening dinner at The Spinnaker or the Grand View.

    The food is excellent. Everything was well prepared. Service was excellent. One thing to note, the side dishes are enormous. You should either order a half or be prepared to split it with one or two other people. Another thing, if you order a glass of wine instead of a bottle have them bring it immediately. It is quite cold and it takes a while for a red to warm up to the point where it can be fully appreciated. The rack of lamb has 7 ribs. Be prepared to split it or take some home. Doggie bags were quite common. Another neat trick, their prepared drinks come with dry ice on the glass. It keeps the liquid cool but it does not dilute the flavor as it melts. One last thing. Be prepared for an expensive experience. Two of us with drinks, 2 glasses of wine, 2 half appetizers, 3 half sides and 2 main courses ended up with a bill over $550 including tip. Worth it for special occasions but a lot for any kind of regular thing.
