   We were the last reservation of the night and although everyone there had pretty much finished their dinners, the restaurant staff all welcomed us kindly, and didn’t make us feel like the the imposition that I’m sure we were. We only ordered main courses (to be quicker to finish) and they were delicious, especially the Monday night special Chicken Milanese. Our new favorite spot.

   Love to sit at their zinc bar for lunch, not too crowded and the new bartender Frederico gives very attentive service. Great salads!

   Overall wonderful Parisian feeling to the bistro and food is reliably good. Lots of noise and tight seating can be off putting if not expecting it . Lively and very good service which is rare for a busy Manhattan restaurant . Recommend if you don't mind the noise and tight seating.

   It had charming spot interiors and a vibe, but the food was mediocre. Omelets less good than diner or onnoar French fries very average presentation nothing. French toast small greasy and average. Salad was fine. Didn't mind paying 25-30 for omelets and salad but it should be a step or more up from what they serve

   I brought some friends from out of the city and they loved it! Best steak tartare and Moules Frites in the neighborhood, and the Steak Frites were exceptional!

    Match is a cozy bistro - like you'd find in Paris - and a prototypical New York UES restaurant you'd see in a classic film. I've been here a few times for different brunches and always enjoyed the food and the ambiance. Great, attentive service. Good value. Great location.
