Great sushi with a nice show from the chef.
The team is very polite and lovely. Overall the experience was nice, but there were 2 things that dissapointed us:
First: even though it is a nice close-up experience with the chef and it was great to see him work, the kitchen was not clean.
If you are welcoming guests to your kitchen, at least you should wipe the stainless steel surfaces before the start of the service. The counter where the fish was prepared was fine, but the hob behind was dirty, which diminished our experience. Maybe they had a rushed day (the place was closed with shutters down up until a couple of minutes after our booking time, which also didn't feel very welcoming) I hope it's not the case for every sitting.
Second: we felt like it was a bit pricey for what we got, after you finish the set menu, they asked if you want to repeat any dish, I ordered 1 tuna nigiri and they charged 15 euros for it. One single nigiri.
On the positive side the fish was extremely fresh and delicious, and the bites were carefully prepared and presenred, it just needs a few tweaks for it to be the flawless experience that I was expecting.
