Food, drinks and service were all exceptional. We were there for a late dinner after a concert on a very slow Tuesday. Realized that eventually we were the only ones there, and the waitress still encouraged us to stay for dessert.

Excellent food all around. Chilean sea bass special was light and flavorful. Everyone else ordered off the regular menu and enjoyed their meal. Server was attentive, energetic, and efficient. She brought a sample of the soup special that said spicy so we could determine if the level of spice was ok. One of my favorite restaurants in Hartford area!

Have eaten at many of Max group restaurants in the past and service was always good. Tonight service was very slow. Finished my dinner, plates were cleared and it took 25 minutes for our waiter to come over and ask if we wanted coffee and/or desert. By that time I didn’t and just asked for check and it took almost another 10 minutes to pay my bill. Not good.

Outstanding service in a welcoming environment. Max Fish has retained incredible staff through the years, and these wonderful people provide a personal, comfortable, and enjoyable environment in which to have a high quality dinner time and time again. Love Max Fish - they are the best in all respects!

Great dinner tonight and was made better because our server(Chloe) was awesome. Great job and never missed a beat. Food was delicious and didn’t feel rushed. We love it here

Sorry to see the as you like it fish selection is gone from the menu. There used to be a wide variety of great fish to choose from and the ability to choose the preparation and sides. Not anymore. There are now only a few fish to choose from and they only are prepared one way and with sauces or sides you may not want. The food is still very good, but I miss the ability to order a beautiful piece of simply grilled or broiled fish.

Went for lunch during the week to meet up with my cousins. Our waitress was lovely and very attentive and my shrimp poke bowl was excellent. The atmosphere is very relaxed. I always enjoy eating there.
