   Very warm welcome. Large, loud group at back (probably would have been better if seated in glassed off room inside), music volume high, lowered on request. Food quality excellent, portions of puttanesca and meatballs big, Risotto very small. Falafel and carrots, eggplant parm delicious. Party with a happy pekingese dog seated nearby, removed from the carrier by diner; table next asked to be moved. Brunch menu more complete for vegetarians. Service by Lili was very attentive. this was a one off noisy visit. Still one of my favourite places for a special night celebration.

   Maxine’s is a casual and elevated establishment. The staff have always been and continue to be superb. Well trained genuine and consistently fun. The food and kitchen staff are phenomenal. An excellent well run restaurant!

   Great atmosphere and service at Maxine's for Sunday brunch. We were disappointed by the special offering of duck confit club sandwich, which had more bread than filling. And the falafel bowl was unusually dry, though still still flavourful.

    I went here for brunch and had a fantastic time. The food and drinks were delicious and the staff was very attentive and friendly. I would definitely recommend it.
