I went to Max's for lunch with a friend who I hadn't seen for a long time. We sat in a booth on the patio for 4 hours. The lobster omelet was divine! The server did not rush us, and was always there when we needed him. I would go back anytime.

The hostesses must be related to the owner.. they don’t honor reservations.. they lie about finding you.. claiming they called and didn’t.. I asked one of them to see a manager.. none ever showed. I flagged down a nice waitress and she got us organized and served... I could never recommend a restaurant that treat customers with that kind if indifference.. and then lie! Avoid this restaurant

We love love love Max’s. We have NEVER been disappointed by the food, the menu, the service, the professionalism or the staff. This restaurant is highly recommended and is worth every penny spent, from the starters all the way to the dessert. We have one recommendation...flat bread as an addition to your starter menu 💕
