    Wow, they were completely overwhelmed with customers and could not serve food in a timely manner. They ran out of food, and the tables were full of dirty plates.

    We had a 6pm reservation and didn’t get seated until 6:45. The hostess was rude. Our waitress was delightful, but the food was mediocre.

    Christmas Day 2024 - A Perfect Storm: MS took too many reservations, did not order enough food, and did not have enough wait staff. To our waitress, perhaps if you would have taken our dinner order when we asked you too (after waiting an hour to be seated) you would not have come back half an hour later to let us know you were out filet mignon and butter cake. A very special and festive night deserved better planning and execution. Don't know if we will be back. Merry Christmas 🎄

    Had reservations for 5:15. Arrived and told they were "running" 30 mins late for rsv. Why make a rsv, if the restaurant can't accommodate them ?!? Then they were "out" of items off the SPECIAL DINNER menu, mind you it's not even 6pm yet !!. Very dissatisfied.

    Had reservations and upon checking in was informed of a 30 minute delay. It would have been considerate to inform those with reservations of the delay via a text message. We placed our order and later informed one of the three desserts ordered was no longer available. We later found out it was because our dessert ordered want placed until the end of our meal instead of when we ordered. Wait staff are always pleasant. Restrooms are clean. Food was delicious but there was quite a wait to have it served after ordering. Overall great place to dine and will be back again.

    The dinner was great and our server was friendly and helpful. I think that it was so busy that it was difficult to provide timely service. We were in the booth close to the front door, so peoples names were being called the entire time and there was quiet a lot of activity around our area. But overall we had a lovely time and enjoyed the meal.

    The restaurant was backed up with reservations and were running 30 minutes behind when we arrived for a 4:00 pm seating

    I love going to M&S. This was a special Christmas dinner for my daughter. We used to go to the M&S on Beaverton Hillsdale hwy. We had reservations at 3:30 and were seated at 4:10. This was upsetting but it was Christmas. Our salads were served by 4:30…..but our main entrees of salmon and steak were not served until 6:15. It seems our order got lost. I was given a free glass of wine for inconvenience. Dinner here has always been a treat because it’s expensive but food and service are excellent …but tonight it felt much like a cattle call. I gave it a 4 because it’s Christmas 🎄

    We had reservations, but the restaurant was not prepared for the volume, so we waited a half hour to be seated. After waiting to be seated till still took a while to be served. Sadly, the food was not up to the usual standard. We were very disappointed and think this could’ve been averted with better planning on the restaurants part. It seems that they overbooked and were not able to adequately. take care of the patrons they had. Very disappointing.
