Visit McCormick & Schmick's Seafood & Steaks in Atlanta's exclusive and interactive entertainment venue, the CNN Center, also home to the luxurious Omni Hotel and Cable News Network's global headquarters. Visitors and locals can visit the 21 acre Centennial Olympic Park - home to the 1996 World Olympics, the World Congress Center, the State Farm Arena, the Georgia Aquarium, the World of Coke Museum, and the Georgia Dome, all conveniently located next to McCormick & Schmick's.

    The service for the price point was not great. We were there for over 2.5 hours. Our waiter was friendly but overall the dining room was very unorganized with random people just wandering about. Not great front of house management is what I think. Additionally, the food was heavily salted. While some people would like that, again for the price point, the seasoning should be more controlled. This is a chain, and it felt like a chain with generic food at large prices. I get it, downtown Atlanta, with the associated prices. I would have expected better. I would not recommend.

    We were served by Rodney. He made the trip worthwhile. The food was excellent. We had to take the remaining food home due to the portion size.

    The server was annoyed to serve us and was displeased the whole time as if we were a chore and it was my ladies birthday dinner and that was not a good look for the establishment

    Service was extremely slow. Drinks arrived approximately 20 minutes after being ordered. The food we had to inquire about. It was then brought out and was lukewarm. Even when the card used to pay the ticket was taken to the back it took a long time for the server to return. Definitely not worth it.

    Our server, Baz, was exceptional! He came to our table several times to check on us, made sure we were satisfied with our meal and offered his help if needed. He was very cheerful and made our experience memorable!

    Be patient and understanding. Don't go here if you are in a hurry or hangry. The service is slow, but good overall. We got an over cooked crab cake, and we sent it back and the next one was much better. My bone in ribeye was under cooked, but that wasn't an issue for me because I was taking it home to eat for later. I wasn't able to eat the steak at the restaurant because it was brough out without a knife. While waiting for a while to get the knife, I ate my sides and was too full to eat the steak. The overall experience was just good, nothing exceptional and nothing really bad. Would recommend going here, but anything over a table for two, I wouldn't recommend due to how slow service was for just two people.
