McCormick & Schmick's Seafood & Steaks is conveniently located in downtown Indianapolis just one block west of Monument Circle and close to the State Capitol. We are just minutes from the Indianapolis Convention Center, Lucas Oil Stadium, Conseco Field House, and Murat Theater. From fresh seafood and shellfish to Steak and garden fresh salads, our goal is to exceed your dining expectations. As our guest, you will experience culinary excellence at its best.     The food was good. Restaurant was busy. Our server was not very personable, didn’t ask if we wanted drinks without being prompted and did not bring us enough spoons for dessert.

    We were please when seated prior to our scheduled reservation time. Initially, the service was good and appetizer and salads came quickly. However, the main entrees took a long time and were no longer warm when brought to our table. The flavor of our 4 entrees were good, unfortunately they were no longer warm. We did not send them back as we had waited a long time already. And the restaurant was not busy.

    Great experience and our server was fantastic. I wish I could remember her name but just gave my family a great experience. Every year we go to Yuletide followed by dinner at McCormick & Schmick’s and this year was once again a great time. Highly recommend!!!

    The service was wonderful. The atmosphere was vibrant and the food was great. I had the crab stuffed salmon which I thought was amazing. My husband had a ribeye steak which was prepared perfectly, but he said it had a little more gristle than expected, but still very flavorful .  I felt the prices were reasonable. We were celebrating our anniversary and they had it printed on the menu which I thought was a really sweet touch. It was our first visit to the Indianapolis location. We have been several times to the one in downtown Chicago. I felt like the parking was a little excessive. We parked in the garage across from the hotel, it was $24 for the couple of hours It took us to eat. That seemed excessive to me. Overall, we had a very good experience.

    Steak and pork chop were hot and tasted good. The soup and sides were definitely cold and not up to the standard that the founder of this chain would approve of. Will not be back

    We arrived on time for our reservation and were forced to wait an additional 20 minutes before being sat at our table. Our server, Jason, was excellent. We started with the Sweet and Spicy Calamari. It had the texture of a thick rubber band and was inedible. My spouse ordered the salmon and she said it was “okay.” I had the fish and chips, to be safe, and it was very good. I also had the lobster bisque. Unfortunately one of the chunks of lobster was not an optimal portion as it tasted like bad chicken instead of good lobster. The actual soup was quite delicious. Overall we left fairly disappointed. This was our first time trying this location. Sadly it was not up to par for our meal.

    The ambience was very nice, and the food was excellent with the exception of my fillet being a little bit too well done. Our server was very personable, and although busy did his best to take care of us.
