Located on the picturesque waterfront of the Potomac River, McCormick & Schmick provides stunning views of the river, offers heated outdoor dining and is accessible via water taxi from Old Town, Virginia, and Georgetown, Washington, DC. From fresh seafood and shellfish to Steak and garden fresh salads, our goal is to exceed your dining expectations. As our guest, you will experience culinary excellence at its best. Our menus reflect seafood from the Pacific Rim, the Atlantic Ocean, and the Gulf of Mexico. We also source products from local ranches, farms, and wineries to showcase regionally inspired dishes.

    We spent $120.00 for a two person Valentine'dinner. The soup was cold. The overall meal was not filling nor was it tasty. After leaving the restaurant we had to go to another place to get food. We were still hungry after paying $120.00 for dinner. Aweful dining experience. I will not be back.

    Great food and service. Parking in this area is very difficult. Most garages blocked for hotel guest only.

    Came to eat on Valentine's Day, made a reservation for 9:30. Didn't find out until DAY OF that they close at 10, which would be fine if it wasn't for everything else. We were seated fairly quickly, but weren't helped until 20 minutes later. Food was great when we eventually got it! Before we even started eating, the restaurant cut the music off so we were just sitting in silence. Waitress asked if we wanted another drink since the bar was closing when we had JUST recieved our drinks a few minutes before, and asked us if we wanted dessert before we even started on our main course. We sat there in silence waiting for our check for 15 minutes before kitchen staff had to ask if we needed anything. For the cost of the meal the service wasn't worth it. At least you can keep the music on while patrons are in the restaurant. Probably won't be returning.

    The presentation wasn’t good my food was cold the waitress wasn’t attentive we had to keep asking for her everything was all over the place everything was being rushed I get it was Valentine’s Day but this is a business and that is expected but customer service and presentation is expected as well.

    Our experience was superb. We ran a little however, they still accommodated us and even granted our request for a window. One of our favorite restaurants!❤️

    McCormicks is my Valentine’s Day tradition. It’s a perfect intimate dining experience. The Strawberry Cucumber Prosecco drink is my go to, don’t forget to order the Parmesan Oysters.
