Welcome to McGee"s Pub NY. We are an authentic Irish Pub with tons of beer on tap and a wide variety of food on our menu. Be sure to check out our "Irish Traditions" to gear your taste buds towards an authentic Irish Cuisine. Not only are we located in the heart of the city, but we have been around for 30+ years. McGee's Pub is also well known to be the inspiration for MacLaren's Pub which is a bar featured in the hit series, How I Met Your Mother.

Food was good and reasonably priced. The server was attentive without hovering. Food came quickly and was delicious.

Nice pub/sports bar with lively atmosphere. Again, a little loud for us old farts but still very enjoyable. Very meaty and tasty chicken pot pie and my bride enjoyed a salmon dish. Went back to watch football playoffs a few days later and enjoyed some tasty potato skins and a couple of pints at the bar. Lots of tv screens to watch.

Got a table on a wierd place in the restaurang were everyone went by, there were flies on the wall, the drink didnt taste at all as it should do and the food tasted like something I could do at home with only my microwave. The only thing that were ok was my beer (I hope there wasnt any flies in it tho)

The staff was very friendly, we didn't have to wait long to get to our table. The food was good, the only thing was that they presented the bill a little bit to fast so that we couldn't really finish our beer in a normal time.

Disappointed by McGees. Made a reservation and the hostess wasn’t aware. We waited for a table and then they put us upstairs which has no HIMYM memorabilia which was the whole reason for our visit. We were seated near a bunch of large parties and the whole floor had one waiter. The food wasn’t impressive but it was at a high price point.

Waitress dumped water on my mom. No apology was made. She said it was just water and seemed annoyed we asked for some napkins.
