We are a neighbourhood bar & restaurant serving up sumptuous food, delicious cocktails, and a whole lot of love.

Last bookings for food are at 8.45pm, later bookings will only be for drinks.

    McLarens has three rooms for functions, the Loft, the Parlour and the Tellers Room. The Parlour and Teller's Rooms are great for intimate dining occasions, whilst the loft is perfect for more relaxed functions with a buffet-style menu.

Santa will be here spreading Christmas cheer at his Grotto on the Corner, giving the perfect opportunity for a festive photo op and his elf helpers will even be handing out presents to those on the 'nice list'. When: 1st, 8th, 15th, 24th December Time: 9am, 9:30am, 10am or 10.30am What's included...? Children: £12 for a soft drink, Brunch dish, present, and a meet with Santa and his elves! Adults: £15 for a brunch dish and hot drinks. Please note that we will contact you in advance of your booking to help Santa provide age appropriate gifts for your little ones!

    The worst excuse of a poached egg that I’ve ever been served. The egg was minuscule- embarrassingly so. The scones were hard and dry. Terrible food Lovely service.

    The booking process was easy. I arrived early but was shown to the table. Our order was taken. Water arrived followed by our drinks. The food arrived and my Fried Chicken Croll. It's was absolutely delicious. The others had the Tikka and Flatbreads and the Smashburger. The food was delicious. The service was excellent throughout. Highly recommended

    Normally one of my favourite bruntsfield venues. Last night though was a disaster. The kitchen was in a mess and kept sending the wrong food at the wrong times. We eventually gave up and left hungry. The saving grace was the kindness of the manager who was incredibly understanding and kind. Hopefully next time things will be back to normal.

    We booked for the breakfast with santa experience. It's a great value for money, the staff were nice and Santa was very friendly and patient. It was a bit chilly at first when we arrived but i guess that's because the place had just opened in the morning and also initially there was no music in the back where we were seated. I liked the decor and food and would definitely recommend to friends and would be back to visit again myself. Happy holidays

    Staff couldn’t be more helpful. Really relaxed atmosphere. There are few pubs like this in the city- well done to the whole team
