   Burgers, fish and chips and Ruben were all very good! Server was nice but service was slow.

   Our server was very nice. She timed the order so we had plenty of time to enjoy an appetizer before dinner arrived. There were some minor issues with food and drink and I opted not to make a fuss. I hoped for a better dining experience but I made a decision to keep it light and not to say anything. The issues were about quality control behind the bar and in the kitchen. Cheeseburger with no cheese. Beer not cold. First world problems. The turnoff of the night was as we were heading to a show in the ballroom. The ushers were obnoxious. Yelling at the customers, like cattle. No respect. I wish I was their boss. I would have fired them on the spot. Two staff, and one in particular, did not like how customers were lined up down the stairs and the path patrons were taking to access the ballroom. Bear in mind -that’s a facility set up issue, not your customers. Don’t verbally yell at your paying customers, “Up against the wall, up against the wall. No!! NO!! Get UP against the OTHER wall! All of YOU need to be up against the other WALL! I wanted to invite that disrespectful loudmouth to walk down the stairs and talk to us like human beings. It was a training issue. On the upside, the music was great.

   The jambalaya bowl was very good, but the hamburger was overcooked (supposed to be med rare), and the aztec salad was missing the avocado and the corn salsa. It also took close to 40 minutes to get our order, ands the restaurant was not that busy! They did adjust the bill to make up for the salad snafu, but we likely will not return.

   It took 30 minutes to get our drinks (not really fault of pregnant server) soda was out in basement. Appetizer showed up at same time as burgers.

   My rating is on everything except the hostess/reservations. I would give that a 2. I made reservations thru the Open Table app and confirmed it however when I arrived the hostess said I didn’t have one. I showed her the app that said I did with the correct date and time. She then proceeded to tell me that there’s nothing she can do without a reservation in her system. A few minutes later, I asked does she have a walk-in table available and she did. She should have checked prior to telling me prior to telling me that’s nothing she can do. Seems like that should have been a no brainer. Food was great as always. Service was excellent! Food came out in a decent time and we didn’t feel rushed. We will likely come back but I’ll call ahead to confirm my reservation.

   Very disappointing. Our server completely forgot us and for our reservation at 12:30pm lunch, the food did not get served until 1:39pm (time stamped on the photo), long 1 hour and 10 mins later, while we were starving. It would have taken longer if we didn’t look for the receptionist to please track down our server, who was apparently in a different part of the large building, since we never saw her for almost an hour. The fish and chips plate is not worth $24 plus tax and tips, two pieces of flat fish with over cooked shoe string fries, plus tax and tips. We could have had much better meal elsewhere, and without being terribly starved.

   Horrible experience! Terrible service. Ruined our evening. The waitress even told us, in the future to not go on a Friday or Saturday. We were very late to the show and part of our group didn’t stay. It was a below mediocre dinner, horrible service and ruined the evening for some.

   This was the worst experience we ever had here. It started when we were on the line to get a table. We had the nerve to inquire from the woman behind the podium if the line was for people with reservations. She very snippily respond. Responded “you’ll just have to wait in line”. The people behind us in line commented about how rude she was. We then waited 45 minutes for a drink to arrive prior to appetizers. One of our party ordered a beer off the beer menu. When the waiter came with the drinks, 45 minutes later, they brought a different beer and told him they made the decision about what beer to bring him because they were out of the one he ordered. when the manager came over to explain the situation, we told her we waited 45 minutes for drinks, and the waiter was standing near the table, chatting with a woman for 15 minutes at that time. The manager turned to us and said well, we are very busy. There had to be six empty tables in the area we were sitting. At that point, we decided not to order anything else and have dinner at another restaurant close by.

    Fun place to take out of town visitors, but never impressed by the food. Gravy on Bangers and Mash was bizarre.
