Meat On Ocean is a meat-centric, modern steakhouse in Santa Monica that offers both a sense of adventure and breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. Beyond the offerings of a world-class steakhouse, Meat On Ocean features an artisanal charcuterie bar, an exhibition dry-aging room and a variety of prime beef – from dry-aged domestic cuts to Japanese A-5. Integral to the operation is a highly trained crew of servers and butchers, who communicate directly with Guests about the beef, organically farmed chickens, house made sausages, choice seafood and more.

Located on the corner of Ocean and Broadway, Meat On Ocean is steps from the action - including the Santa Monica Pier, shopping and hotels.

Starting May 2024, Meat On Ocean is also your headquarters for private dining and events, with customizable spaces that are perfect for social events, corporate meetings, birthday parties, anniversary celebrations, wedding receptions and ceremonies, with full audio/visual connectivity.

We’re hosting Thanksgiving this year at Meat on Ocean in Santa Monica. Reserve your table today and leave the details to us on Thursday, November 28. Our three-course Thanksgiving menu will be available all day, featuring your choice of starter (clam chowder or mixed organic greens), choice of entrée (Diestel roasted turkey, served with roasted garlic mashed potatoes, traditional cranberry sauce, homemade sourdough apple-celery stuffing and turkey gravy) and your choice of dessert (pumpkin cheesecake or old fashioned chocolate cake). Adults are $72 and children (under 12) are $26 per person. Our full menu will also be available all day.

This is our third time dining at Meat on Ocean and it seems to be better every time we go. Wait staff-amazing, management-amazing, food-amazing. We always order too much because everything is so good. Even the mixed salad and golden basalmic dressing was amazing, we could have eaten a huge bowl.

Excellent food. Excellent service. Top drawer experience. Phenomenal wine list albeit a bit pricey. Well worth a special occasion or a nice dinner out.

Over the top, terrific service by Valentina. She was friendly yet professional, had a great sense of humor, and checked on us frequently without being obtrusive. Food was very solid, maybe a B+. Sunset over the Pacific was an added bonus, especially for out-of-town guests.
