Meat On Ocean is a meat-centric, modern steakhouse in Santa Monica that offers both a sense of adventure and breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. Beyond the offerings of a world-class steakhouse, Meat On Ocean features an artisanal charcuterie bar, an exhibition dry-aging room and a variety of prime beef – from dry-aged domestic cuts to Japanese A-5. Integral to the operation is a highly trained crew of servers and butchers, who communicate directly with Guests about the beef, organically farmed chickens, house made sausages, choice seafood and more.

Located on the corner of Ocean and Broadway, Meat On Ocean is steps from the action - including the Santa Monica Pier, shopping and hotels.

Starting May 2024, Meat On Ocean is also your headquarters for private dining and events, with customizable spaces that are perfect for social events, corporate meetings, birthday parties, anniversary celebrations, wedding receptions and ceremonies, with full audio/visual connectivity.

As always great food and great service. We were here for New Year’s Eve with pre fixe menu. Great shrimp cocktails, salads were wonderful, surf and turf was excellent and cheesecake and chocolate cake were excellent. Ordered the wind pairing which was also great . Our server did a great job as always we have great experiences here.

Fantastic from appetizers to dessert. Highly recommend the pistachio crème brûlée. Logan and Ruben went above and beyond in helping us. Excellent staff!

Although my dinner was good, we watched a customer have his life shattered and the managers did nothing to help. They say they couldn’t help, thus making me realize that this restaurant is severely unsafe.

An epic steakhouse with a wonderful staff, fantastic menu and outstanding atmosphere. Ocean view tops it all off nicely. Have been wanting to go here for a while and found a good excuse to gather a bunch of friends for lunch - a perfect venue for a lively, comfortable social gathering - food was absolutely delicious and bar cocktails are unique and satisfying. I think I speak for our group when I say I can't wait to come back soon.

Five stars for the food and our server. Unfortunately, our entire table was very STICKY and dirty. Things actually stuck to the table. We covered the entire table with our napkins. The server apologized. Other servers working next to our table were cussing and complaining about their customers! They were very rude and unprofessional.

Fourth consecutive Christmas Eve dinner with family. Warm ambiance, staff, and overall great experience. Food is consistently good with outstanding service.

Great experience. The restaurant was a 5 minute walk from the Santa Monica Pier where we attended the Cirque du soleil show. We had reservations and we were seated promptly. The steaks were delicious and cooked to perfection. The service and food were great. Definitely will be back.
