Meat On Ocean is a meat-centric, modern steakhouse in Santa Monica that offers both a sense of adventure and breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. Beyond the offerings of a world-class steakhouse, Meat On Ocean features an artisanal charcuterie bar, an exhibition dry-aging room and a variety of prime beef – from dry-aged domestic cuts to Japanese A-5. Integral to the operation is a highly trained crew of servers and butchers, who communicate directly with Guests about the beef, organically farmed chickens, house made sausages, choice seafood and more.

Located on the corner of Ocean and Broadway, Meat On Ocean is steps from the action - including the Santa Monica Pier, shopping and hotels.

Starting May 2024, Meat On Ocean is also your headquarters for private dining and events, with customizable spaces that are perfect for social events, corporate meetings, birthday parties, anniversary celebrations, wedding receptions and ceremonies, with full audio/visual connectivity.

Fabulous‼️. This is categorically THE BEST steak anywhere. Period. The quality, the rub, and the exact cooking makes the anticipation worth it. Also try the crab cake. A delightful evening.

We had the 16oz rib eye and the surf and turf lobster tail and filet 8oz we also had the Spanish octopus 🐙 every thing was over the top and fall apart in ur mouth,the cook temps were on point and could not have asked for more thank you meat on ocean was a blast

Our server was Timothy. Excellent service. We had the New Year's Eve Prix Fixe dinner. We had a fantastic time. The food was, as always, fabulous. We will be going back.

As always great food and great service. We were here for New Year’s Eve with pre fixe menu. Great shrimp cocktails, salads were wonderful, surf and turf was excellent and cheesecake and chocolate cake were excellent. Ordered the wind pairing which was also great . Our server did a great job as always we have great experiences here.

Excellent food! We enjoyed the mandatory four-course dinner for NYE. Each course was perfect — especially our 8oz filets. The only misstep was that they forgot to serve our sautéed spinach, which was fine because we had more than enough. And it was LOUD. Plus there was a guest who was extremely rude on my way back from the restroom, which isn’t the fault of the restaurant. He seemed to be out of place and out of his league and just in the way.

Fantastic from appetizers to dessert. Highly recommend the pistachio crème brûlée. Logan and Ruben went above and beyond in helping us. Excellent staff!

Although my dinner was good, we watched a customer have his life shattered and the managers did nothing to help. They say they couldn’t help, thus making me realize that this restaurant is severely unsafe.
