    Last minute email to inform us that kitchen was closed was really disappointing. Furnishings looked worn, would have liked drinks served in proper cups instead of paper cups.

    Restaurant took our booking for 8 people including card details. When we all turned up at the restaurant it was closed! Members of our party came from afar to meet here. Left a message with them, I’ve had no response. No apologies. Nothing. Really bad service.

    I thought the choice was limited compared to the Codsall MB, I wasn't impressed with my tea being served in paper cups. I would wrap up warm as I found it cold(this was noted on their website). The food we had was nice and hot. The staff are excellent very friendly and efficient. I should of have checked the menu before I went.

    Hi Nicholas, Thank you for taking the time out to share your feedback. Wolverhampton is a different concept to Codsall, with a deli counter and only a limited hot menu, with a Chef on weekends. Although, the cafe has in house seating, a large percentage of your guests are take away, which is the reason cups and our packaging is disposable. We will try and make this clearer on the website, so guests are not disappointed we cannot offer the full Medicine menu. Great to hear the team were warm and welcoming and the food was great. Sorry it is chilly, victorian factories , although are beautiful and essential to maintain our heritage, do not hold the heat in. We look forward to your return. Regards Medicine

    No one to take the reservation, no one to take you to a table , no one to take the order in fact the only staff visible was a lady behind the bakery counter.

    Food was excellent and portion sizes were bigger than expected. I marked it down a star for value only because I thought it was a little expensive however food was tasty, hot and I would definitely eat here again!

    I visited medicine in the chubb building, Wolverhampton. I'm in sure if it's normal practise or if it was purely because it was a bank holiday but hot beverages were served in paper cups. The granola yogurt I ordered was in a pre-made plastic pot. My usual experience at other medicine establishments is that it served in a bowl with compote. My husband's scrambled eggs were also quite congealed. All in all, not a very good experience.

    Hi Anne, I am so sorry you were disappointed with your recent visit to Wolverhampton. Unfortunately, the Wolverhampton site is a Deli, rather than a full cafe, due to limited kitchen space. We offer a take away service with disposable cups to either stay in house to enjoy our drinks and pastry menu or take away. My apologies , your expectations were not met, we need to make that clearer to all our customers. Did you make us aware that your husbands scrambled eggs were not satisfactory, as we would have immediately changed or refunded if you were not happy with anything? We do strive to get it right for every customer and your feedback is essential for us to keep improving and maintain our high standards. Kindest Regards Medicine

    Went lunchtime midweek so not all the menu is available. Very quiet, no ambience. No proper cutlery or tableware. Food was served in cardboard and drinks in take away cups. Not at all what I thought it would be like having visited other medicine bakeries. Very disappointed and will not be visiting again.

    Hi Julie, I think from your comments that you visited our Deli which is our takeaway / pasties counter, that is why drinks / food is served in paper cups . Our restaurant is situated next door to Harvey Nicholls, where the full main is offered, I am sorry that was not clear .
