Medium Rare is an award-winning, iconic, full-service restaurant famous for its French-influenced steak and frites (fries). The restaurant offers a three-course prix fixe meal, featuring a flavorful fresh mixed green salad, artisan rustic bread, hand-cut fries, and the main course—scrumptious Coulotte steak topped with a secret sauce. Medium Rare also offers a variety of decadent desserts, such as the 7-layer chocolate cake, the 7-layer carrot cake, and their legendary hot fudge sundae. Nice place, very nice salad, huge portions, very good service, good food, fabulous value. I've been there twice and I will return again.

Came for brunch. Service was attentive. Had the steak and eggs, and the French toast and sausage. Food was delicious. Will come again.

What they don't offer in variety is made up by quality: the bread, butter,salad & dessert were great! Steak/frites great. Our server, Andy, outstanding.

If you are going to have one item on the menu, it needs to be perfect–this was not. The dessert was delicious but frankly the steak was disappointing.

Meh. Steak was very thinly cut. Mealy texture and still hungry after the “second” plate. Went with two young men who were still hungry and ordered another plate for $13 and they probably still could have had more. No volume to steak. So salty as well. Water glasses were constantly empty. My first plate was well over cooked (asked for medium rare came out well done) but no chance to tell anyone as the server was no where to be found. Asked for more bread never showed up. I know they are just getting going so maybe it will get better.

Interesting concept for a restaurant - only one meal option with the steak and frites, so you don’t need a lot of time to consider the menu. Bread was good - we would have liked more, but that wasn’t offered by our server. Salad was okay. The steak and sauce was VERY good! Each of us received the proper temperature we’d asked for as well. I liked the frites - my dining companion would have liked them to be crispier. Cocktails were excellent! We’ll probably eat here again!

Did not respect reservations, food was ok but they seem to say it’s a lot But not really because the plates are really small

Very good value date night spot. Unfortunately our first visit was for Valentine’s Day and the restaurant was not at all prepared for the volume. We waited over an hour for our reservation because they packed the place. The steaks are very thin slices, but for $35 a person it’s a good value for all that you get. Most of the floor space is tables, making walking to your seat or the bathroom awkward as you excuse yourself through every table in the restaurant. I wouldn’t come here again for a special occasion but I’d consider it for an affordable outing with friends or significant other.
