   Melvyn’s was magical. I had very high expectations, and our dining experience tonight did not disappoint! The entire experience was first class - atmosphere, sense of history, every member of the staff, the food, and pacing of the meal was perfect. I will return and recommend Melvyn’s to others looking for a fine dining experience evocative of the best of Palm Springs. Thank you to everyone at Melvyn’s!

   My husband and I had a poor experience. Both the host, John and the server, Scott, were very inhospitable, Scott was just plain rude and very uprofessional. We will not recommend or dine at Melvyn's again.

   Everything about my Melvyn’s experience was exceptional. Steak Diane (my favorite) was perfectly cooked tableside by our server who has been there for years! Love coming here annually at this time of year to have my favorite food, ambiance & nostalgia that Melvyn loved every guest to have.

   There were pine nuts in the farmers markets carrots and they didn’t put it on the menu, I’m deathly allergic and was up all night combatting the reaction.

   We enjoyed the Tomahawk steak!! With a big baked potato and carrots!! The Key-lime pie is to die for!! Great piano music as well. Lovely quintessential Palm Springs experience!!

    My wife and I love dining at Melvyn's. It is old school elegance and charm. The ambience could not be more seductive. A great bar. Lovely dining room with chandeliers and fine art. The service, is excellent. Great menu and wine list. I only gave 4 stars for food, but would have given it 4.5 stars if I could have. The Chicken mushroom dish had perfectly roasted chicken - tender and juicy. But the cream sauce was a little too heavy and drowned out the chicken and mushrooms a bit. My wife's dish, salmon, was delicious. The appetizers, salad and dessert were also excellent.
