We are the city’s top Mexican restaurant for authentic modern cuisine, specialty tequila and mezcal cocktails, located in the heart of River North. Our culinary team features popular Mexican dishes, including our signature tacos, as well as fresh salsa and guacamole, ceviche, esquites and more.

Mercadito's lounge is nestled in the lower level of Mercadito. It offers a speakeasy-style experience with a chic and exclusive ambiance. The space features banquet-style booths and dim lighting that enhances the elegant wood furniture, creating an inviting and intimate atmosphere.     The food from here is always superb, I’ve had tacos from here before. But this was the first time coming in for the bottomless brunch, but definitely not the last! I got the chicken enchiladas with the mixtas ceviche & guacamole for appetizers. The bottomless drinks for brunch is awesome because you can mix and match you don’t have to be committed to one drink. I highly recommend the sandia margarita! My group of 4 all enjoyed their food from tacos to steak & eggs! It’s a good vibe too, I love that they play traditional Mexican music even with some rancho style! You won’t be disappointed with the food or drinks here!

    We were there for an early brunch and it was quiet. We had some botanas to share and mimosas. Everything was good and the service was excellent.

    We had a great experience and our server Luis was great, he brought out complimentary shots for a birthday and was so sweet to us! We love Luis!

    Great choice of Mexican beers and fantastic margaritas. After ordering the amazing guacamole and some street corn. We shared some Mahi Mahi tacos and carne asada tacos. Had a great meal You cannot go wrong here in their wonderful environment

    Food was amazing and the atmosphere was very fun. Look out when dining with a group because they brought a portable card reader already on the tipping option that did not indicate in any way that an autogratuity was included, causing us to double tip.
