Mercer Roof Terrace, located on the 7th floor of Vintry & Mercer, takes in the sweep of London’s skyline, from the dome of St Paul’s Cathedral to the glass tip of The Shard.

Outside, guests can enjoy an al fresco dining experience above the city lights in a partially covered settings with comfy blankets and overhead heating perfect for chilly evenings.

Inside, the atmosphere is warm and convivial, with floor-to-ceiling glass doors opening wide to the night’s sky.

You can enjoy a menu that celebrates the best of modern English cooking, showcasing farm-to-table meat, fish and seasonal vegetables cooked using our charcoal oven and our house infused craft cocktails displayed in colourful glass carafes on the bar.

Our winter Cabins are back at Mercer Roof Terrace! On the top floor of Vintry & Mercer, takes in the sweep of London’s skyline, from the dome of St Paul’s Cathedral to the glass tip of The Shard. Here guests can dine al fresco above the city lights in a warm and convivial atmosphere. Our transparent cabins can accommodate from three up to four people offering a unique private dining experience under the night's sky. The setting is warm and cosy, with faux fur blankets, flickering candles and the twinkle of city lights all around – a magical way to spend an evening on a cold winter’s night. Bookings are available for up to 2.5 hours. 4 seating available: 12noon to 2.30pm 3pm to 5.30pm 6pm to 8.30pm 9pm to Close

We was seated in the huts outside, after a while we noticed one of the seat cushions was soaked and one of our party the had wet clothes. the food was ok, Steak was over cooked. Considering it was a Monday afternoon the service wasn't very quick

This is a very cute place with great views. Food was good and well prepared I had the fish and chips. Service was friendly and they were competent. My only feedback is that some of the tables inside were very close together.

The steaks were extremely salty and inedible. Triple cooked chips were just standard chips. Salads were very sadly seasoned. Beetroot starter had so much vinegar, it was inedible. The cheese plate thankfully wasn’t salted - great achievement , hats off to the chef that didn’t touch that dish. The table was outside in a little tent - no air, very cold, no waiters coming in a regular basis. Absolutely appalling experience.

Excellent food and service,we have booked a cabin and luckily it was quiet.The Christmas special menu was nice and staff was very friendly. The view was nice too. Definitely recommend it.

An excellent Sunday lunch, The food and wine were superb. Even thought the weather was inclement the views of the City were great and the service excellent. Highly recommended.

We booked the early bird menu. However, on arrival this had been changed to a more expensive Christmas dinner menu even though we were still in November. The hotel had not advised us before of the change. We opted for a pod outside but this was quite a squeeze and more like a shed with windows. Food was lovely and the staff were great. Wouldn’t have gone so early if we knew the early bird had been cancelled.

Staff were incredible, so kind and welcoming. The drinks were amazing and the food was to die for. Will definitely come back when next in London!!

It was nice to sit in the igloo on a mild winter afternoon. The service was perfect and very helpful, making for a relaxing experience. Unfortunately, the food could have been better prepared , for example my monkfish was chewy and served with nothing more than a couple of sprigs of broccoli.
