Located in the Warehouse District, Meril is Chef Emeril Lagasse’s lively restaurant in New Orleans. Meril’s casual restaurant interior is marked by a signature open style kitchen and a large bar area, featuring a varied wine selection and craft cocktails. Named after his daughter, the restaurant showcases some of Chef Emeril’s favorite dishes that he loves to eat, featuring everything from Wood Fired Flatbreads to Korean Chicken Wings.     Loved the vibe and service was excellent. Great dinner with four teenagers. Food was delicious, I just wish our food was served hotter. I’ve noticed this at another restaurant that we loved so maybe it’s a NOLa thing.

    Went early to enjoy happy hour before dinner .Enjoyed an appetizer before being seated for our meal. Great food and service!

    This was our first spot for food during our trip to Nola. They were flexible when we showed up an hour early for our reservation and we were sat quickly. We ordered the meatballs, the pineapple upside down cornbread, the turkey necks and the 100 layer potatoes to share between the two of us since they were small plates. We got swindled into ordering the pocket bread but it ended up being really good so no complaints. The meatballs were 10/10 I could’ve eaten way more of them. The pineapple upside down cornbread was really good and unique but the bacon overpowered any pineapple. The 100 layer potatoes were fantastic probably my favorite along with the meatballs. My husband enjoyed the flavor of the turkey necks but complained that they had very little meat on them. This is a nice spot for some tasty, unique shareables over good conversation.

    My friends, who come to NO annually, said this was a great place. NOT! Poor service, food was abismal, shrimp tacos were like rocks, meatballs were cold amd the cauliflower had no flavor. We ordered extra sauce for the cauliflower and were charged an extra dollar for $18 cauliflower. YIKES! Absolutely nothing good here...

    2nd visit within past 6 weeks. Big selection of items between 4 of us. Wings, dumplings & scallops continue to be favories. Underwhelmed with red curry crab noodles & Mexican street corn. Crawfish beignets special also so so. Deserts are all great.

    This remains a goto venue for us. Service is always good, friendly and amenable to my sense of humor. Food is always interesting as the menu changes frequently.

    We had the best dinner at Meril. Craig took outstanding care of us. He and all the other members of the team seemed genuinely happy to be there, and their positive energy was contagious. The food was delicious. We’ll be craving more of it until our next trip to New Orleans.
