   I was so hopeful this was going to be good but it just was not. We were seated promptly and they brought water quickly but then we just sat waiting for our drink order to be taken until I asked someone for help. We ordered our drinks and food at the same time because we didn’t want to wait longer. They served the first course before the drinks were served and I had to ask again for the drinks and then they brought one and not the other and I had to call the waiter again to ask for the second drink. Sadly I never got my last course and had to get up and walk to the front and ask for the check because it seemed Like the kitchen was closing. It was just not a good experience. I worked with the late great chef Michel Richard for years as a manager with him in Santa Barbara so I know good service and food and this was not what we had hoped.

   Good food and bev, a bit spotty on the service but the staff is super friendly regardless! Highly recommend!

   Our second time at Meril’s. Cannot recommend it enough!! Interesting and creative menu. Mexican Street Corn the best we have ever had. Shrimp tacos, Sunday Flatbread. Service excellent. Will definitely be back.

   We had a 7:15 reservation, but arrived about 45 minutes early. They got us right in. I have celiac and the waitstaff was very attentive and knowledgeable about what menu items were safe. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

   The service staff was very kind and helpful, but the service was very slow. It took nearly an hour before our food was ordered. Food is delicious!

    I’ve never had a bad experience here! The service is always fantastic and the food is delicious. Prices are reasonable and the drinks are good. What’s not to like!
