Reflecting Peter’s personal style, the restaurant combines the feel of a neighborhood bistro with hints of old Hawaii. 行政主廚：Peter Merriman

OpenTable美食編輯：《洛杉磯時報》曾將Peter Merriman譽為「夏威夷群島的Alice Waters（美國名廚）」，盛讚這名主廚運用在地食材的廚藝精湛，多年來無人能出其右。於1988年在夏威夷大島上開業的第一家Merriman's，將夏威夷堅果脆煎鬼頭刀和香酥芋球等夏威夷經典菜色變化出新滋味，成為餐廳招牌。截至2018年，該餐廳集團已經在夏威夷的四座島嶼落地生根。最新開設的分店位置在檀香山，餐廳內採用色調鮮明大膽的綠白相間地板和叢林印花布料，格外引人注目。

Was expecting a wonderful Christmas dinner with family. They offered a prix fixe menu. Two of our party wanted the filet, it was only 7pm and they said they may be out and need to substitute. They substituted for a fatty thin tough New York strip. It was not comparable to what we ordered. When I spoke to the manager, he said he would take it off the bill. Clearly this manager doesn’t understand. There was no amount of money to make up for a ruined Xmas dinner. And the server stopped waiting on us, never offered us coffee or anything to go with our desserts. I’ve been going to merriman’s for many years. Always a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner. Never again.

They were 15 minutes late seating us for our reservation and even then, they only sat us after I had to go back up and ask about the status of our reservation. The entire place seemed over crowded and the staff over stressed. Food was okay.

Love the ambience and the cocktails here. I keep coming back for more… and then I’m reminded that the food is mediocre. I’ve never ordered the special of the day, so maybe the chefs save all their magic for that dish.

Normally I’m very happy with the food at Merrimans. This was the first time the food was mediocre at best. Will probably not be back for a while.
