Dine at the most breathtaking oceanfront setting in Kapalua Resort. Peter Merriman Chef/Restauranteur has brought his unique style of Hawaii Regional Cuisine to Maui. A pioneer in the “Farm to Table” concept, Peter serves only the freshest products, at least 90% of which are locally grown or caught, using only sustainable methods.

Reservations are released 60 days prior at 6am HST. This includes all holidays. Although we cannot accommodate parties larger than 8 people or split reservations in our main dining room, we do have other options available. Please email reservations@merrimanshawaii.com for groups larger than 8 people.

For a more casual dining experience, join us at The Point, our oceanside dining location offering a casual menu. The Point opens daily at 4pm, weather depending. Reservations are not needed or accepted for The Point. Happy Hour is from 4pm to 530pm at the Point and Bar.

As always Merrimans has a great selection of delicious foods. The fish is always fresh and delicate The server Gibouille is the absolute best. The ambiance is wonderful and this is a place not to be missed. We live on island and adore this restaurant. Peter Merriman - please bring back the delicious malasadas please as many of us loved them!!!

Probably the best experience and restaurant we have ever went to and we have eaten at some remarkable restaurants. Everything and everyone was top notch and our waiter Miguel was absolutely fantastic. Actually will try and eat here again if we can get another reservation this week, they book up quickly.

We made our reservations 3 months ahead for our 45th wedding anniversary. We got there early figuring we could get a drink at the bar. Oh no.. they are reserved seats! So we drove to the Montage and got an appetizer and cocktail there. They were so inviting and it was perfect. Drove back to Merriman’s and got our table at our reservation time. Our waiter was great and e writhing went along until they shut the blinds on our view due to weather, which never did come to the restaurant. Our entrees and salad were good. They brought a nice anniversary dessert which was very nice.

A wonderful experience! We sat at the bar during sunset. The bartenders were wonderful. We had a cocktail and a mocktail. We had the cavatelli as a starter, the daily filet special, and the Mac ceisted mahi mahi. We ended the night with the pineapple bread pudding and it did not disappoint. Everything was so delicious that we were considering going back again before the end of our visit on Maui. Loved it all!

Our server Leslie was fantastic, very attentive and knowledgeable about every dish. Food was awesome. Very pricey though. Their Mia tai was so delicious!!!!

We sat at the bar and had a super enjoyable sunset dinner. Everything was great and the servers were attentive and professional. We had chow fun, 5/5, probably the best dish; beet salad, delicious but a ripoff at $24; macadamia crusted mahi mahi and seared ahi for mains — both enjoyable; yummy pineapple bread pudding for dessert. Because we sat at the bar, we could see that the cocktails and wine pours were quite short, which was disappointing. Hence, 4 stars instead of 5.
