Dine at the most breathtaking oceanfront setting in Kapalua Resort. Peter Merriman Chef/Restauranteur has brought his unique style of Hawaii Regional Cuisine to Maui. A pioneer in the “Farm to Table” concept, Peter serves only the freshest products, at least 90% of which are locally grown or caught, using only sustainable methods.

Reservations are released 60 days prior at 6am HST. This includes all holidays. Although we cannot accommodate parties larger than 8 people or split reservations in our main dining room, we do have other options available. Please email reservations@merrimanshawaii.com for groups larger than 8 people.

For a more casual dining experience, join us at The Point, our oceanside dining location offering a casual menu. The Point opens daily at 4pm, weather depending. Reservations are not needed or accepted for The Point. Happy Hour is from 4pm to 530pm at the Point and Bar.

Tables will be seated from front to back, so we recommend booking our 3pm seating if your table location is very important to you. Location requests cannot be guaranteed. We will hold a table for you for 15 minutes past the reservation time. We ask that you limit your experience with us to 2 hours as a courtesy to the people waiting to be seated. If your plans should change, please let us know as soon as possible. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your reservation will incur a $225 no show fee.

      Was there to celebrate wife’s bday. Food was ok to mediocre. Ambience was fine. What hurt us most was the fact that inspite of taking my wife’s name down during checkin as the b day girl no candles no happy birthday song. That was not the case with two other parties in the restaurant. The only conclusion I could draw would be our race. So my advice would be if you are any race other than white don’t bother. These people are overtly racist and will spoil your night and occasion.

      This is probably the best restaurant on Maui. The view is spectacular, the service the best on Island, and the food is amazing.

      First time sitting at the inside bar but it was the best seats in the house for 2 people. Loved our bartenders Ryan and Leslie. Making sure we weren’t left out at all. Drinks were spot on and food was exceptional!

      Great location- beautiful views - excellent food - busy, busy! Only complaints would be 30" wait for a table AFTER confirmed reservation time. Not a great start to a Birthday celebration for my wife! Ushered to the outdoor bar for a drink while waiting for table; great views from the deck but ... why have a reservation (made 60 days ago and re-confirmed) if you're going to have to wait?? Food was delicious and while waiter was competent, we felt he was distracted by larger parties and catered to them while letting us wait. Instead of paying with a credit card, I paid cash just so we wouldn't have to wait.
