Message in a Bottle and the restaurants at The Village Dunwoody are the vision of hospitality veteran and owner of Dash Hospitality Group, David Abes. Chef Camron Woods, Culinary Director for The Village, and along with Phil Handley, have created a thoughtful approach to the food & beverage selections. The bar menu features a mix of vibrant cocktails, beach beers, and complimentary wines. Start your dining experience with a Seafood Tower, Oysters Rockefeller or the Ceviche de la Día. The menu features a selection of the daily Fresh Catch, Crispy Seafood Platter, and Chef's famous Maine Lobster Pot Pie. The dining room has a fun beach vibe with nautical decor and other seating options include the Raw Bar, Screened Porch, or Private Dining Room.

    Service was a little slow. Lettuce wraps & shrimp cocktail were great. Lobster roll was disappointing, as it was a cold lobster roll served on a hot plate with a minimal amount of lobster. I would rather pay more than $28 & have more chunks of lobster.

    The food and service is generally good. It’s nice to have fresh seafood in a neighborhood eatery. The problem is how loud it is in the restaurant. The noise level is very high and it makes it hard to talk to the people at your table. It’s not enjoyable to have to yell across the table.

    Message in a Bottle is right in the middle of Funwoody. The ambience is great and reflects the families gathered around the community outdoor tables enjoying food and coctails. The night of this visit there was a band playing oldies in the outdoor area. The food was outstanding and the chef altered our dishes to prepare them just as we like. We both had the seafood baskets with fried oysters, but grilled fish and shrimp. The cole slaw was delicious with just the right amount of dressing.

    I was disappointed with the food. I had a party of 7 and 3 of my friends complain their fish was undercooked... also our waitress was very loud, we ask her to lower her voice about 3 times but that did not help...

    We had a great experience at Message in a Bottle! The service was incredible and the food is delicious. Highly recommend the creole shrimp and the shrimp scampi!

    Message In A Bottle is a great local restaurant. The food is consistently fresh and delicious. The service ( Sarah) is always an asset to the restaurant. We always ask for her station because she is such a good waitress… a pleasure! The lobster crab chowder is wonderful , the mussels are to die for, and the crab cakes are fantastic. Actually, everything we have eaten at this restaurant, has been delicious and well-prepared. Save yourself for the keylime pie… wonderful.
