Metro 8, located in Durham, North Carolina, serves American cuisine in an upscale steakhouse that is perfect for date nights or work meetings. Each meal is made to order with fresh ingredients by professionally-trained chefs and cooks. Metro 8 has a full bar which features an extensive wine selection, including both domestic and imported wine.

Would definitely recommend. I had the lamb chops. The service was amazing. I wish i could remember the servers name. She was a 10/10.

I have been eating here since the mid ninety's. Last night was no different. We only had a couple of hiccups. The broccolini for two of my friend was cold and had to be reheated.

                                                                                                                                                            Went to Metro 8 for the first time on Valentine Day. Upon making our online reservation, it was noted there will be a Valentine Day menu consisting of 3 courses for $75 pp, however the menu was not available. We arrived at Metro to find the 3 course menu (appetizer, entree, dessert) was essentially a subset of their regular menu, which the establishment used Valentine Day as a way to price gauge their customers. Our bill arrived and each of the 3 courses showed a $25 charge for a total of $75. I had the empanadas ($9 on their standard menu), churrassco ($35 on their standard menu, and tiramisu ($9 on their standard menu), these items total $53 on any other night, but Metro 8 charged $75 for these standard menu items on Valentines. Shame on Metro 8.
