   Always love it at Metropolis. Just wish that the tables for 2 weren’t crushed up at the windows/front door.

   We had a lovely pre-theater dinner there. Every bite was delicious. I appreciated the curated menu. It means that you are not overwhelmed by choices and that all the dishes they serve are done well. We had a very personable server and they also allied us to move tables mid-meal when a lovely corner table opened up. I think the prices are quite reasonable and fair on food and none of the wines were crazy. Overall excellent experience!

   Metropolis was tecommended to me by a foodie friend. The food was amazing, great drinks (blood orange margarita) the beet salad was excellent and the rigatoni was outstanding! I’ll definitely be back!!

   We enjoyed another wonderful evening at one of our most favorite neighborhood restaurants in the South End! The food, staff and atmosphere were all so great. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

   Metropolis continues to be our favorite place for brunch or dinner. Staff, service and food is consistently amazing! Can’t wait for the warm weather to be able to eat outside.

    We had not been to Metropolis for a while. Excellent experience. I had the delicious rope grown mussels and Salmon and a piece of the cod. Wow. Everything was delicious. Very high quality fresh ingredients. The garlic in salted olive oil and bread were delicious. The chorizo and crushed tomato sofrito and toasted bread were perfect accompaniments to the mussels. The cod I tried was great. Huge piece of fresh salmon. I was so full I only ate the salmon and a little bit of the tampenade ( mostly the crispy capers) Service is great. The current servers have been there for years. Compared to years ago, the seating is more spacious and comfortable. (We hadn’t eaten at a booth for a long time).
