   Beautiful restaurant with a really cool bar that opens to both inside and the patio outside. Both bartenders today were very friendly and attentive. They have an excellent selection of tequilas ( they have Fortaleza Repo Winter Blend 2022) if you know then you know!!! Had the Brunch Tacos, they were amazing. Will definitely be back.

   Marco was phenomenal. He balanced the tables very well and made sure we didn’t feel neglected. He made sure to keep us updated on everything and kept our water full at all times. His customer service was top tier. Everyone in my party was happy with his service and the food.

   I love Mexican Sugar!! I’ve been here multiple times, I’ve taken friends and family who’ve all grown to love it here and I never have any complaints. This time though, I did things a little different. Since I was waiting for the rest of my party to arrive, I waited at the bar and had a margarita. The bar staff was super friendly! I didn’t get any of their names but after waiting around there I for sure will sit at the bar more often! I also got complimentary churros for my birthday which made it extra special! I’ll for sure be back!

   Made reservations for 2 and sat at the bar until my client arrived. What a disaster! After being seated pleasantly enough, it took a while for the bartender to acknowledge me with only 3 people seated when I arrived. After 15 minutes or so he came over and asked if I wanted salsa and chips. He proceeded to bring those items over and I asked for water and that took another 15 minutes to bring over after I reminded him of my original request. Again, a total of 3 people at the bar. My client had an emergency at the office and couldn’t attend the lunch meeting and I proceeded to order tortilla soup after getting the bar attendant attention. For a non crowded bar it shouldn’t take nearly an hour to get chip and salsa, water and I never did get the tortilla soup. A little disappointed in the service and perhaps this was a one off event.

    Everything was very good! The hibiscus margarita is fantastic and stands out. Carne Asada fajitas are also very good and the rice and beans were some of the best I’ve had. Great ambience for a more casual date night!
