This place has a 2 michelin stars and definitely will be receiving a 2 stars review from me. It was already very disappointing since the beginning. The complimentary bite from chef, prior amuse-bouche, was very salty.
Amuse-bouche is rather confusing. When we started our first appetiser, one of our friends, received very smelly and disgusting bafun uni dish. I took a small piece to try and it literally killed my palette. I really wanted to spit it out but unfortunately there was no tissue on the table. I had to ask the waitress to send my friend's dish back and explained that it was terrible.
The meal went on and it was heavy on seafood. You get all kinds of seafood here. Shrimp, Scallops, Fish, Mussel etc. you name it. When we about to get our main course, we get this Perdreau 3 ways, which is a patridge being cooked in 3 different ways. 3 of our parties already mentioned since we first booked that we do not eat foie gras and we specifically said to the waitress again that we do not eat foie gras. However, this Perdreau 3 ways thing contained foie gras. We could smell it from our first bite and we asked the waitress what was inside. The answer we got was potatoes. We had to ask again and it was still potatoes or mushrooms. Then, the manager turned up and said yes one of the Perdreau 3 ways was marinated in foie gras!
I mean 2 michelin stars and we did say several times about our food restriction and the chef still served what costomers do not eat? The manager did try to offer us white truffle (on the house) to top our main course as a way to apologise but there was no way that white truffle would have made up for what we had eaten so fat, so we politely declined the offer. The main course was still not impressive. The beef jus was yet again SALTY. I swear we drank 4 bottles of still water and 3 more cola throughout our meal... That was a lot of liquid needed to be taking in for this whole set menu.
