Situated in the heart of Merchant City, Mharsanta brings a taste of Scotland to you. We have a passion for using seasonal, local produce from Scotland and are here to ensure our guests have the very best experience from the moment you walk through the door.

We serve a variety of Scottish food from mussels and scallops to home cooked favourites including freshly landed fish and chips and steak and sausage pie. Our resident chef Dom and his team serve an array of culinary delights to suit every taste at affordable prices.

We are open 7 days a week from 12pm and offer a Dine In, Takeaway and Home Delivery service.

We are partnered with Just Eat and Deliveroo for takeaway or you can order online for collection at www.mharsanta.co.uk

The evening will be brought to life with the stirring sounds of a piper, leading the traditional 'Address to the Haggis' as a tribute to Robert Burns. To add to the festive atmosphere, guests will be treated to live Scottish Trad music throughout the night, creating an authentic and unforgettable Burns Night experience. Lovely restaurant, nice decor . Have been several times and recommended to friends. Servers today were Lovely as always but food was disappointing. Husbands soup ( Cullen skink ) wasn't very warm and not much fish in it . My soup of the day was delicious and piping hot. Husband had steak and sausage pie , he enjoyed the dish. I had mussels in cream sauce but they were look warm and wasn't even half way through they were too cold to eat . French fries were also Luke warm and looked reheated or else they were poor quality frozen fries. My husband mentioned to waitress when clearing the table that the food was disappointing. She came back and said she'd passed on our comments and our second drinks would not be charged and they discounted 20% off the bill as well . This was an appreciated gesture from the restaurant , but we would have preferred to have enjoyed the meal.

Had to return 2 portions of soup as they were cold. Veg with steak pie and steak pie it's self were barely warm. Free glass of wine when we mentioned it.

Second visit here did not disappoint. We had the set meal Sunday Roast and it was fantastic. The meat was soft and succulent and all the sides were perfect, felt like a real meal from home. The wine is great value, exceptional for Glasgow, and the Deserts finished the meal off perfectly. Lovely atmosphere and surroundings, we love the Scottish theme. A quick shout out to the friendly and competent staff who were on point with everything. We will be back soon, Many Thanks.

Good range of options on the menu and service and surroundings were great. Food was really tasty and well presented and the only fault was the vegetables were slightly cold.

Went on a Wednesday night. Very quiet so little atmosphere in the place. Probably better when busier. Service was good and food good too.
